Born on November 30, 1969, in Saigon, Vietnam, Matthew’s journey led him to Lexington, Kentucky, where he became a cherished figure. A longtime member of Cadentown Baptist Church, he was known for his friendly nature, infectious smile, and ability to brighten any room. Whether enjoying life’s simple joys, engaging in heartfelt conversations, or sharing a moment of laughter, Matthew left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

Matthew deeply valued his family and the bonds he shared with them. He is survived by his father, Craig Wesley Hudson, his sister, Marquita Carr (Ramon), and his beloved niece and nephew, Maya and Andre Carr. His love extended to his grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a close-knit group of lifelong friends. Though preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and aunt, his memory will forever be cherished by those who loved him.
