Shreveport, LA — A delivery driver was critically injured in a shooting on Monday, January 20, 2025, in the Walgreens parking lot at the intersection of Kings Highway and Line Avenue. The shooting led to a temporary lockdown of nearby C.E. Byrd High School as authorities responded to the scene.

Details of the Incident

According to the Shreveport Police Department (SPD), officers arrived at the scene around 10:20 a.m. after receiving reports of a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Upon arrival, officers found the injured man outside the Walgreens and quickly provided life-saving treatment before transporting him to Ochsner Health Hospital.
